# Version an Asset

POST https://api.frame.io/v2/assets/{asset_id}/version
Content-Type: application/json

Add an asset to a version stack, or create one if one doesn't already exist

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — Bearer authentication of the form `Bearer <token>`, where token is your auth token.
